Do your puppies come with a health guarantee?

Yes.  All of our puppies come with a Pet Contract and are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of sale.  The Pet Contract is signed by both parties and requires that the puppy be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of being sold.  

Have the puppies been wormed?

Yes.  Our puppies have been wormed for hookworms, roundworms, whipworms and certain types of tapeworms.

What about other types of tapeworms?

Dogs can get tapeworms from eating fleas that are carrying the tapeworm larvae.  We use a puppy safe flea repellent to help prevent them from getting fleas.

Have the puppies received their shots?

Yes.  Our puppies have received their first DAPP shot for canine Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus during their first vet visit.

What all comes with my new puppy?

The following items will be included with your new puppy:

• Pet Contract
• Buyers Information which documents the dates of shots and worming and gives basic puppy care information
• Puppy Registration Papers
• Toy with mom's scent on it
• Sample of the puppy food your puppy has been eating
• A small blanket
• Pee pads (2) (if available)
• Chew stick sample (if available)

How do I place a deposit/pay for my puppy?

We post the puppies individually at 4-5 weeks of age on our Puppies For Sale page at which time you may place a deposit or pay in full online.  You may also pay with cash directly in person.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept PayPal, Credit Cards, Debit/Bank Cards and Cash.  The following credit cards are accepted through our PayPal account:  Visa / Delta / Electron, MasterCard / Eurocard, PayPal Top Up Card, Maestro, Solo and American Express.  Debit cards (also known as Bank Cards) are accepted through PayPal if they have the Mastercard or Visa Logo.

When do I get to take my puppy home with me?

Puppies can be picked up between 7-8 weeks of age whenever they are eating well enough to be on their own.  We will arrange a time and date with you to pick up your puppy when he or she is ready.  

Will my puppy have its dew claws removed?

We do not have dew claws removed from any of our dogs or puppies.  We have found that they will not normally have any trouble with them if their nails are trimmed regularly and kept short, therefore, we do not believe it to be a necessary surgery.

What hours are you open?

We accept calls and texts Mon-Sat from 10:00am to 7:00pm and Sun from 12:00 to 7:00pm.  Our hours for picking up your puppy are flexible and we will work with you to arrange a time convenient for both parties.

What is a Doxie?

Doxie, Wienie Dog, Wiener Dog, Teckel and Salchicha are all descriptive words which refer to Dachshunds.  You will see these words randomly in the captions of our images and they all mean the same thing - Dachshund.  

I paid for or placed a deposit for my puppy through PayPal.  Why isn't there a "SOLD" caption under the picture?

We update our website manually and place the "SOLD" caption after we receive the email from PayPal.  Don't worry - Your puppy can not be purchased by anyone else if you used the "Pay Now" button and received your confirmation of payment from PayPal.  If anyone else clicks "Pay Now", they will be taken to a page that says the puppy has already been sold.
